"Security for Human Beings and Borders - Fight against Migrant Trafficking in the Western Balkans"

In the framework of the project "Security for Human Beings and Borders - the fight against migrant smuggling in the Western Balkans", financially supported by the Albanian Helsinki Committee, the Association "Albanian Initiative for Development" (AID) has drafted a Study Report on Irregular Migration in Albania 2018-2021, which consists of analyzing data and identifying findings on the fight against smuggling of migrants and respect for their rights. On January 31, AID held a roundtable discussion in which we presented the draft Study Report, in order to issue a series of suggestions and recommendations about it. The Draft Study Report reflects the current situation of irregular migration in Albania, analyzes the implementation of migrants' rights in the Albanian context, summarizes the legal and strategic framework for managing irregular migration, refers to EU best practices, etc. For more information, follow us on social media as the Report will be published.
